Update Smart School Management System 4.1 to 4.2

Upgrading from Previous Version

Upgrading from Version 4.1.0 to Version 4.2.0
If you are already using Smart School version 4.1.0 then you should upgrade your Smart School to current version 4.2.0 to get all the new features and fixes if any. The upgrade is pretty simple just follow the steps below and you will get the newest version of Smart School.

Check the changelog for changes and bug fixed in this version.

Always backup your all files and database before making an upgrade

Create backup of all files you have made changes or customized for your features.
In your Smart School installation folder delete all files present under /application/migrations folder.
Download the latest Smart School version 4.2.0 from CodeCanyon. Now extract and open update/step-1 folder.
Copy all the content under step-1 folder and overwrite to under your Smart School installation folder.
After that go to http://yourdomain.com/migrate and if upgrade is successful a message will be shown that "Database updated successfully".
After upgrade copy all the files under step-2 folder and overwrite to under your Smart School installation folder.
Check all directories permission required in System Requirements section.
Clear the cache of your browser and login to Admin Panel.
If you are using your own language (other than English), make sure to add key phrases in langaguge files described in Languages section System Settings > Languages.
